The earliest known gardens of the ancient world were living spaces, fruit orchards and vegetable gardens irrigated by the Euphrates and the Nile. They were used by their owners to sustain themselves and as leisure spaces featuring meandering green walls and were so treasured, models of them were placed in the tombs of their owners when they passed. In Ancient Egypt, the most extravagant gardens featured ponds and pools and were sources of shade, colour and aroma.

Garden Club, set in the lush natural environment of Grand Cayman, is an ode to these gardens and the natural elements that brought them life, featuring rituals, ceremonies, treatments and therapies from the old world to the new world including an outdoor hammam, infra-red sauna, steam room, sauna, ice room, hot and cold plunge pools, a social pool space and private treatment rooms. The Club is also designed sustainably with minimal built areas and dominated by its green walls of Clusia hedges and travertine surfaces sourced directly from quarries in Italy.

This philosophy was also evident in much of the healing practices in the early Modern Caribbean whose treatments and rituals were constructed around the phenomenology of the human body and nature and Garden Club’s treatments builds on this heritage.

Members and guests of Garden Club are invited into a sheltered oasis that offers contrast; where wellness is both social and private, where treatments are offered indoors and in outside the natural environment but all designed to be rejuvenating and healing; with an emphasis on natural and organic ingredients.

Arrival

Spa guests are advised to arrive 15 minutes prior to their appointment to have ample time to change into proper spa attire, complete our health questionnaire and to relax before embarking on the ultimate spa experience.

Non-Members

Garden Club is a health and wellness members club; however, while anyone is welcome to book in and experience a curated treatment at any time without the need for a membership, using our facilities before or after your treatment requires a minimum spend of $500 USD on Garden Club treatments.

Payment

All reservations are pre-charged to your credit or debit card or paid in cash at the time of reservation.

Medical Conditions

If you have undergone any surgery within the past six months, suffer from any medical condition or are pregnant, please advise us at the time of booking. Our therapists will provide you with a consultation in order to ensure that your experience suits and complements your physical condition.

Age Regulation

All members and guests must be over the ages of 18 unless prior consent given by Garden Club staff. Spa services are not allowed for adolescents under age 16.

Spa Regulations

For the convenience and comfort of all spa guests, mobile phones, video cameras or personal stereo devices are prohibited during your stay. Smoking is strictly forbidden on the premises.

Cancellations

In case of cancellations, a minimum twelve hour-notice is required to avoid any charges.
